Mark Denney
Mark became involved in working with bereaved children when he volunteered with a local child bereavement charity in 2009. He went on to lead one of their young person’s groups and also worked as their schools’ advisor, developing workshops and resources as well as running training to support staff who work with bereaved children. After some some time he started working for Child Bereavement UK as a trainer and then on their project to support families and professionals affected by the Grenfell Tower Fire. After which he became part of the West London team where he worked as a Bereavement Support Practitioner.
He has also written a chapter for a new book about Men and Loss for the Open University.
